A rocky islet at a distance of about 300 meters from the opposite coast, under the rock of the monastery of Paleokastritsa and one of the richest marine life habitats of northwestern Corfu -if not the richest- with rock formations and Poseidonia meadows in places.

Large populations of seabream and saddle bream and smaller of golden grouper dominate the site. The presence of groupers and parrotfish is also quite common and also barracudas although not in large numbers, while tunas are much less common. Octopuses, sea urchins and nudibranchs are not absent, while the populations of small fish of many species are important, such as big-scale sand smelt, picarel and sardines. Coral formations of small extent and size are scattered in medium and usually greater depths. In recent years, lionfish have begun to make their presence felt, while the presence of boats is intense every day.
