Aggelokastro

Reef at the northernmost point of the Paleokastritsa – Liapades area in northwestern Corfu at a distance of approximately 300 meters from the opposite coast. Rocky formations mainly make it up, with small areas of Poseidonia meadows and relatively limited marine life.

Seabream, parrotfish, moray eels and various small fish are the most common species that can be found here. Quite rarely, a few pelagic species may be found and even more rarely turtles.

Being a location that attracts fishermen, abandoned nets left on the rocks are not uncommon.
